The lab work behind your research, handled.
If your organisation is running a study that touches soil — contamination, provenance, safety, or suitability for a proposed use — we take on the testing and field sampling so your team can focus on the research question, not the logistics.
What we take on for research partners
We’re currently supporting a number of companies on active research projects, alongside a research project of our own. Most of this work sits under signed confidentiality agreements, so details below stay general by design.
Contaminant & provenance testing
Independent laboratory testing to establish what’s present in a soil, where it likely originated, and whether a material is safe for a proposed use — built to stand up as evidence in your own research or reporting.
Field sampling & trial design
We collect samples on-site to your specification, or design and run pilot trials on your behalf — useful when your team needs consistent field data without building that capability in-house.
Gap analysis & reporting
Formal reports and gap analyses structured to support funding applications, compliance requirements, or internal decision-making.
Pyrolysis & hydroponic research
Alongside partner-led work, we’re currently investigating pyrolysis-derived soil amendments and new hydroponic techniques for improving fruit quality — both under way now.
From first email to final report.
A typical research partnership moves through four stages. Timelines depend on scope, but this is the shape of it.
Scoping call
A short conversation about what your study needs — what’s being tested, what the results need to support, and any timeline constraints.
Confidentiality agreement
We sign an NDA before any substantive detail changes hands, and hold to it for the life of the engagement.
Sampling & testing plan
We agree on what’s being tested and how — mail-in samples, on-site collection, or a structured trial — and confirm turnaround.
Analysis & deliverables
Lab analysis, then a report built for your use case — a data set, a formal write-up, or a gap analysis against your requirements.
Companies running their own research.
RESEARCH COMPANIES
Private companies running their own research programs, who we support with soil testing, contaminant analysis, and laboratory due diligence — we’re not building soil for them, we’re helping them research it.
AGRIBUSINESS
Large-scale farms, greenhouse operations, and agricultural cooperatives.
GROWERS
Commercial fruit and vegetable growers, boutique and specialty growers.
